Who we are
Medical assessment is our core business, as the highest quality in Legal Medicine is Medexpert’s main objective and we pay attention to the Medical Experts’ role, providing the best technical and cultural tools for damage assessment.
From the outset, Medexpert’s distinctive feature has been innovation applied to Insurance Medicine. We developed the first Web Server System; the online Expertise Format used by all insurance companies in Italy is a Medexpert patent pending expertise, up to the current project of Digital Barème.

Medical experts’ network
Our medical network consists of Professionals throughout Italy, with adequate presence in every province through a number of Doctors proportionate to the size of each province.
This allows damaged people being visited near their home.
Medexpert is always committed to selecting and training its Medical Experts’ Network, through a following audit and updating, in order to check and ensure its professional standard and reliability, uniform workflow and guidelines, training on new insurance products and personalized services based on customer needs.
Specialist doctors’ network
A Network of Contracted Consultants in all clinical specializations, which allows specific evaluation on each case, based on teamwork in those situations where it is necessary to provide a multidisciplinary response, in complex cases or alongside legal disputes.
The Team is structured on two levels:
- Direction’s Clinical Expert on documents’ opinions and reports
- The Clinical Network throughout Italy

Our experience
Medexpert was founded to answer the new requirements imposed by Law 57/2001.
Through the experience gained in 40 years of Medical Insurance activity, Medexpert looks to the future both for its professional area of interest, and for the aim of transcending Italian borders, with Europe as its goal.
Scientific, publishing and conferences’ activity developed through Melchiorre Gioia Scientific Society, both in Italy and Europe, includes participation in Ministerial Commissions and ANIA working Groups. This activity is a unique point of reference for Medical Experts’ experience in Italy.
This mixture between scientific activity and corporate work gave the chance to create a strongly innovative Medical Network and workflow.
